My name is Laura Lenzie and I am the junior high language arts teacher at Gardner Grade School! In class, I focus on reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary.  I am thrilled to be working for such a wonderful school district and community.  I’m actually a GGS/GSW alumni who was born and raised here in Gardner, and I still presently live in the area. I have my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Aurora University. I have a Master's degree in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University, as well.  I worked as a classroom aide at GGS in the 2012-2013 school year, and then taught sixth grade at Prairie Central Upper Elementary in the 2013-2014 school year. I have been teaching at GGS in junior high since then.  In the past, I have coached basketball, cheerleading, and scholastic bowl for GSWB.  Currently, I am the assistant coach for softball.  Also, I am the GGS Spelling Sponsor for GSWB's participation in the IVC Spelling Bee.  I love teaching, coaching, and remaining a part of the Gardner community through working at GGS!
